Katherine Carrasco Martinez
DTLLS

My name is Katherine Carrasco Martinez; I am a student at London School of Management Education. I am studying DTLLS, Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning sector.

I started this Postgraduate Program in November 2009, and since then I have accomplished three modules towards the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and I am completing my fourth module at the moment.

Having said that, my overall experience at London School of Management Education has been excellent, their professionalism has been shown throughout all their academic courses and academic professionals which are outstandingly trained to deliver the necessary knowledge onto the students.

I completely recommend LSME to any future student that is thinking about getting on board this prestigious institution.

DTLLS

I have been a student at LSME since September 2009 on the DTLLS Programme. The college offers a wonderful multi cultural environment that is committed to developing and enhancing international students’ opportunities and educational life. There are excellent resources for trainee teachers and the college provides a learning environment that is conducive, focused, diverse, relaxed, motivational, and insightful for its learners. The course helps to bring teachers with vast experience from different countries and cultures together providing a forum for guided sharing of knowledge. I have found the lecturers at the college to be very approachable, and always willing to assist me with any information, resources, and guidance for the progression of my course and also in helping me to achieve my desired goals. The staff are equipped and ready to offer their very best service to help prepare us for the advancement in to the teaching arena.

I am currently on placement at the college in the ESOL department as student teacher which has been immensely rewarding for me as it has provided me with a chance to put the ideas and theories learnt in the class lectures into practice. This has been very instrumental for my professional development. I am grateful for the well rounded education being provided at the college and the continuous effort by its members in encouraging students to develop their minds and skills.

Kuhurina Basu
DTLLS

My name is Kuhurina Basu. I have been teaching in India for over 30 years including teacher training.  I am currently studying at LSME for the Postgraduate Diploma in the Lifelong Learning Sector. This course is in fact a very solid bridge between my teaching experience and what I hope to acquire in UK. The best quality of LSME in my opinion is the genuineness and warmth of the LSME staff at all levels of the organisation. The dynamism and modern teaching techniques with which we are taught help us in developing our skills. I have gained much in the few months that I have been with this College: constructing learning with my peers and tutors, sharing cultural specialities and sharing our UK experiences. We have in fact built a community of practice for ourselves which helps us not only for the course but also for other aspects of life.

London School of Management Education (LSME) is an independent College which is centrally located in the heart of London. LSME is easily accessible through public buses trains and tubes. I like LSME because it offers a wide range of facilities for students such as a friendly reception, computer lab, library, variety of courses to choose from and well-furnished class rooms with modern teaching facilities. The staffs are always welcoming and supportive so the students can rely on them.

This College is proven to be one of the best colleges that I have ever come across. Here in the College it is not only the teachers that take keen interests towards teaching the students but also special guidance is given from the Principal and the Director themselves.

In LSME students are just treated as a part of their family and any one requiring help or guidance of any sort is free to contact any staff member of the College. This College is a boon specially for overseas students like us who are now on the path of success.

My sincere wishes for the College is that, it grows much bigger and gains name and fame worldwide.

I am really very proud to say that I'm a student of LSME, this college has given me the best that I could ever get for my further education. Teachers are always ready to help students, they not only guide them but also try and solve the weaker points of weak students and provide solutions to it.

This is the only college that I have seen the Principal and the college Director giving special guidance to students personally.

As an overseas student I am grateful to GOD to put me into such safe hands and such divine college where everyone is dedicated to their work and treat every individual as their family members.
